Diversity and Ability website review

Hi I’m Hilary, the Digital Leader for Inclusion at City and Islington College. I wanted to share a great resource with you: the resources page on the DnA (Diversity and Ability) website.

I first heard about it from a colleague who frequently uses it to locate relevant resources in order to provide tailored support for her students.  This website includes details of a range of resources both free and licensed.  The resources cover issues ranging from Access to Work through to Writing.

The resources have reviews and some have videos and guides. The layout of the resources page is easy to navigate with resources categorised under topics.  This makes it easier to see what resources are available for a particular topic.

There are a range of assistive technology resources.  Some that the College already has licenses for and other that may be suitable free alternatives.

This is definitely a website that I will be investigating further to see what resources may be useful for both staff and students.  I will keep you posted on my progress and any advice on suitable assistive technology!
