On Tuesday 14th November, I went to the maker club robotics workshop at the Sixth Form College with the other student digital ambassadors and staff digital leaders.
First of all, we talked about the kinds of jobs people had 100 years ago then we discussed what jobs might be like in 100 years time.
We then learnt about coding and how to make a prototype move.
I worked with a Learning Support tutor, who is also a Staff Digital Leader called Hilary. We experimented with coding to see how fast we could make the robotic prototype move.
I found it very interesting and I am glad I went!
